Hannah Brown – Family Lawyer
Hannah Brown is a family law attorney dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most difficult transitions with compassion, clarity, and practical guidance.
A Winston-Salem native, Hannah returned to her hometown after earning her undergraduate degree from Wofford College and her Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law. While in law school, she competed on the American Bar Association Client Counseling Team, where she placed third overall in the Southeast Regional Competition. That experience strengthened her ability to listen carefully, communicate effectively, and develop thoughtful, client-centered solutions to complex legal issues.
Hannah discovered her passion for family law during her first year of law school while interning with The Children’s Law Center in Winston-Salem. There, she witnessed the profound impact that domestic violence, substance abuse, and high-conflict family dynamics can have on children. She also saw how compassionate advocacy and steady legal guidance can help families find stability and move forward with confidence. Those experiences solidified her commitment to practicing family law.
Before joining Brazil Family Law, Hannah advocated for students within the Wake County Public School System who faced academic challenges and involvement in the juvenile justice system. She worked closely with families to protect students’ educational rights and secure appropriate educational services, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This work further strengthened her ability to navigate emotionally charged situations while remaining focused on achieving meaningful, long-term outcomes for her clients.
Hannah understands that family law matters are deeply personal and often overwhelming. She is committed to being accessible, responsive, and a steady source of support throughout the legal process. By taking the time to explain each step in clear, understandable terms, Hannah empowers her clients to make informed decisions and works tirelessly to achieve solutions that protect what matters most: their families and their future.
